Buying Beef

To reserve your beef share simply submit the reservation form below and 7 Star will send you a payment link to place your deposit. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost once processing is complete. Deposits for shares are:

• Whole Beef Share:  $1,600
• 1/2 Beef Share:  $800
• 1/4 Beef Share: $400

Each steer will yield different quantities and weights of cuts. Cuts will vary, but in general will include:

• Whole Beef Share:  2 briskets, 16 ribeyes, 20 strips and filets, 12 sirloin, 8 chuck roasts, 4 shoulder roasts, 170 pounds of hamburger, short ribs
• 1/2 Beef Share:  1 brisket, 8 ribeyes, 10 strips and filets, 6 sirloin, 4 chuck roasts, 2 shoulder roasts, 85 pounds of hamburger, short ribs
• 1/4 Beef Share: 1/2 brisket, 4 ribeyes, 5 strips and filets, 3 sirloin, 2 chuck roasts, 1 shoulder roast, 42 pounds of hamburger, short ribs

The total cost is $7.00/lb based on the hanging weight of the steer. We will deduct your deposit from this amount and bill for the remainder once processing is complete. Estimated hanging weights and costs are:

• Whole Beef Share:  600 lbs x $7.00/lb = $4,200 estimated total cost - $1,200 deposit, due prior to pickup
• Half Beef Share:  300 lbs x $7.00/lb = $2,100 estimated total cost - $800 deposit, due prior to pickup
• Quarter Beef Share: 150 lbs x $7.00/lb = $1,050 estimated total cost - $400 deposit, due prior to pickup

The processed beef for your freezer will total approximately 60% - 70% of the hanging weight of the steer.

Once your beef is ready, 7 Star Cattle Co. will coordinate with you to arrange for pickup in Aledo, TX.
